Miniature Golf to Break Ground

Ground will be broken on the new Miniature Golf Complex on Wednesday, August 15th at 10:30 am. The ceremony will take place across from Storyland and adjacent to the Goldring / Woldenberg Great Lawn.

The complex will feature a clubhouse with two party rooms and two 18-hole miniature golf courses. One of the courses will be New Orleans themed and the other Louisiana themed. Both will feature abundant landscaping along with flowing water.

The courses are scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2013.
Via the generosity of a local foundation, both courses will be 100 percent ADA accessible.

Generous individuals, companies and nonprofits have sponsored 33 of the 36 holes on the golf courses. One of the two 18-hole courses has also been sponsored. To learn more about sponsorship opportunities, please contact John Hopper at or call him at (504) 259-1509.
