Report by Jim Danner
A power outage occurred at the corner of North Hagan and Ursulines at approximately 7:30 pm this evening. Entergy was called and a crew came out but soon realized it was a much larger job than originally thought. Three large trucks soon arrived.
The problem was a wooden crossarm broke on the 13,800 volt feeder at the corner of Ursulines/Bell and North Hagen. It took about two hours to replace it.
Cross arm being repaired by Entergy
at North Hagan and Ursulines.

The Entergy crew replaced the large double cross arm and installed insulators by 11pm. Then they removed the shunts and changed and closed the fuses.
