The HBO series “Treme” will be returning to your neighborhood for filming at our repeat location – 2725 Desoto Street on Friday, April 29, 2011 – this Friday. Please excuse us as we will be moving working trucks and crew into your neighborhood Friday afternoon. While we are loading in, please ask anyone with a radio to contact Locations if you have any questions or concerns.
As always, we are working with Katie Gunnell, of the Mayor’s Office of Film and Video, who may be
reached at 504-658-0923 or by cell at 504-329-0665. We are also working with the New Orleans Police Department and Traffic Engineering to effect traffic control and monitor safety for you and our crew.
Jeremy Campbell or Al Caldwell, members of our Location Department, will be distributing these fliers in the neighborhood and welcome the chance to speak with you. You may also e-mail us at tlocations@earthlink.net or call the Treme Locations Office at 504-799-0121.
Parking will be reserved in the area for our working trucks only, and we will therefore be posting
City Permitted “No Parking” signs in those areas. The parking reserve will be posted for the hours between
1:00 PM – 11:00 PM in the following blocks:
• 2600 – 2700 Esplanade Avenue (downtown side)
• 2600 Desoto Street (uptown side)
Should you have any deliveries, events or appointments that we should be aware of, please do not hesitate to call us. We have kept our production vehicles to as small a footprint as we are able. If a vehicle is left in our round-up that we need to move, we will tow it to a nearby street and NOPD will have a record of where it is, just ask for Locations. Again, please contact anyone with a radio for on set information or contact our Locations Office after filming has been completed (504-799-0121).
Thank you for your patience and support of filmmaking in and around New Orleans. Evan Gabriele is the Episode Manager for this episode. He may be reached by cell at 917-288-4073.
With Regard,
Virginia McCollam – Location Manager Episode Manager: Evan Gabriele
