Did you notice the addition to the Fortier Festival sign at Mystery and Esplanade? It says Tony Green and the Gyspy Jazz will also be playing on April 14th in Fortier Park. With Walter “Wolfman” Washington playing first and Tony Green ending this will be one Fortier Fest you don’t want to miss!

The Louisiana Bucket Brigade is hosting this year’s New Orleans Earth Day Festival and Green Business Expo!
The event takes place April 17th from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm and includes music, food, craft vendors, kids activities, NGO and sponsor tables, a raffle and more!
If you have experience planning an event, working with non-profits, or just want to get involved- WE NEED YOUR HELP! Learn the ins and outs of planning an event that thousands will attend! We have positions for: – logistics/setup – promotion/outreach – vendor coordination – day-of staff Benefits for Volunteers include: – event planning experience, non-profit reference – free food and drinks at the event – a chance to shape the event with your own ideas or connections Our first Volunteer Meeting will be on Wednesday, March 16th at 6:00 pm at the LA Bucket Brigade office. 4226 Canal St.
