I am excited to announce that I am a finalist in the WW2 Museum’s 2012 Stage Door Idol contest. It’s a fun & casual 1940’s-themed vocal competition in its third year that borrows its format (judges + live audience) from American Idol. I’ll be singing a song I wrote in the 1940’s style, and would love for you to be in the audience when I perform it.
There are a few different nights of finalist performances in this competition, but the night I will be performing is Tuesday, July 31st, at 6pm. There will be 3 judges that evening, but the audience serves as the 4th judge, so I need lots of friends to come out! Last year it sold out quickly, so please call 504-528-1944, ext. 287 to reserve your ticket today if you think you’d like to attend.
Here are the details:
WHEN: Tuesday, July 31st, 6pm
WHERE: Stage Door Canteen | 945 Magazine Street | New Orleans
Hope to see you there!!
