THURSDAY, DECEMBER 6 at SERENDIPITY 5:30-7:30pm
“Meet the Winemaker” Wine Tasting featuring Charles Mara from the Russian River in Cali. Drop by anytime to taste a beautiful ‘Old Vines’ Zinfandel & his riff on the ripening joys of Russian River Pinot Noir, plus a cool red blend of leather-y Tempranillo, smoky & bacon notes in his Syrah, and Cab Franc for length. There is also a really honest version of Sauvignon Blanc from the same district. Serendipity’s uber creative chef Chris DeBarr will send a few periodic bar snacks to the lucky ones who show up to give Charles a proper Nola greeting & sip on these luscious, exacting wines. It is $15 to sit in on this seminar masking as another “Simple Happy Hour!”
