NoticeMe: A Land-Use Notification Tool For Neighborhoods
We know that it’s hard for the average citizen to keep up on all the public meeting agendas for properties in their community, so the City has launched NoticeMe, a notification tool to help residents stay informed on proposed land-use changes in their neighborhoods. Types of notifications include conditional use requests, zoning changes, text amendments, major subdivisions, variance and decision appeals, zoning verifications, and non-conforming use determinations. Don’t worry if you don’t recognize all of these words–NoticeMe also has a glossary that spells out what these land-use terms mean for your neighborhood.
To pick the geographic area you wish to track, you can choose between already-drawn neighborhood association boundaries or Council Districts, or you can draw your own boundaries right on the map. There is even a “Take the Tour” button that will show you step-by-step instructions to make sure you receive the exact information you’re looking for, in the format you want.
