CASA New Orleans (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is an agency which advocates on behalf of children (birth to 18+) who have been judged victims of abuse and/or neglect. The duties carried out by a CASA are extremely important. No special education or skills are required. We provide thorough training and continual support.
A CASA volunteer offers a child trust and advocacy during complex legal proceedings. Interacting and explaining to the child what is going on, the CASA may be the only stable and continuous presence in his/her life.
