Today – May 5th – is GiveNOLA Day!
Hosted by the Greater New Orleans Foundation, GiveNOLA Day is the community’s one-day, online giving event to inspire people to give generously to nonprofit organizations who are creating a thriving community for all.
Today is our day to come together as one! Every dollar donated from midnight to midnight today to one of over 550 nonprofit organizations profiled on the Leaderboard will be increased with additional “lagniappe” dollars provided by the Greater New Orleans Foundation and the generous GiveNOLA Day sponsors.
Last year, $2.25 million dollars was raised from 19,000+ donors around the nation. This year, the goal is to raise $3 million from 25,000+ donors!

Join us at our Lafayette Square Fiesta!
Today is Cinco De Mayo and you’re invited to a GiveNOLA Day Fiesta! There is music and entertainment between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. Come watch the leaderboard as millions of dollars are raised; give to your favorite charity at the Donation Station powered by Entergy; and, enjoy Mexican food from Juan’s Flying Burrito benefiting GiveNOLA Day. During happy hour between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm, enjoy margaritas from Avion, Jose Cuervo, and Milagro tequilas or beer from Dos Equis – all sales will benefit the GiveNOLA Day Lagniappe Fund.
