Jim and Nancy (Amoss) planted the Crete St and Esplanade median area Sunday, October 18, 2015 . This was a high priority landscape project for a number of neighbors. I told them FSJNA has allocated some monies for the planting. She had purchased the plants and soil. She was instructed to get her receipts to Matt Amoss (Jim’s nephew).

Other progress: several truckloads of soil for Capdieville Park were delivered by neighbor Ed Watters. The dirt was added in an area where soil erosion has exposed oak roots which were being damaged by Parkway mowers. The space was recommended to be a “shade garden” by Tica Hartman, an advisor on staff at Parkways. Another Esplanade Ave neighbor contributed a small rustic bench/stool for bus riders.
