Saints Fans Go To San Fran

January 18, 2012 by Charlie London

Photo and article by Warren Guidry

This was the highlight of our playoff trip to San Francisco, taken with my cell phone, from the hills across the Golden Gate Bridge looking back at the city. You can see a car traveling up the hills on the left to get to where we were and above that, in the water, is Alcatraz. Sailboats and cruisers dotted the water and airplane trails seem to sail across the sky, as a bonus in the landscape. It was an awesome moment. Time moved on. Wish we could have frozen Jimmy Graham’s awesome touchdown moment and called it a day.

Maybe Next Year . . . Go Saints!

Take a ride down Esplanade Avenue and you might be surprised to see this large tribute to the New Orleans Saints. Anyone who knows Nelson Savoie knows he is one of the most avid Saints fans. See him dance through the French Quarter in the video below. He was part of a gathering to honor the late sportscaster Buddy Diliberto.
