New Orleans From Outer Space

Satellite images of New Orleans are nothing new but, a photo of New Orleans taken by an astronaut certainly is. G. Reid Wiseman, a NASA astronaut served aboard the International Space Station as the mission’s flight engineer.

In 2014, Wiseman posted images of oceans, clouds, cities and flying through the aurora borealis… He brought New Orleans a unique view of itself, from a few miles up via 800mm lens.
