A truck went into the Bayou St. John near the corner of St. Philip and Moss Streets. When the truck went in, it took off an entire side of concrete from one of the “docking/sitting” spots along the bayou.

NEW ORLEANS — A vehicle went into Bayou St. John Wednesday afternoon, but there were no reported injuries. The incident happened near Moss and Dumaine streets at about 3 p.m.
A high school student told Eyewitness News he lost control of his pick-up truck because of the rain. He was able to get out of the truck before it sank to the bottom. The student was the only one in the truck and no one was injured.
